A very factual report of the impact on Hayward and its many immigrant families. We were one of those families with four generations of Hunt work experience. What a great town it once was, permeated by the smells of brining pickles, fresh fruit and simmering tomatoes bound for one hundred million plus cans and bottles of various fruit and tomato products produced during peak annual production.
